Electrical Characteristics
Cable:
- 60" molded cable extends from cash drawer and is terminated with a DB25F or DB9F connector
Power:
- Requires a 115 VAC, 60Hz, 0.5 amp outlet or can be user selected to be powered by the serial port
- External power supply with 5'cable is included with cash drawer
Interface:
- Opens on any ASCII character or qualifying pulse
- Jumper selectable signal opening inputs
- DCE transmit line (pin 2)
- DTE input (pin 3)
- DTR as opening signal
- Can be powered from 115 VAC converter supplied, or from serial port (DTR always high)
- Does not open on power up or power down of host device.
